Green Meadows Mind Health is a small, all-cash concierge psychiatric practice.

We intentionally limit our panel and accept only a small number of new patients each year so we can deliver the kind of attentive, individualized care that is increasingly rare in modern psychiatry.

What you can expect:

Direct access to your physician.  You reach Dr. Safani — not a call center, not a covering clinician, not a rotating team. Text, email, or the patient portal. Messages are generally returned the same business day.

Unhurried appointments.  Initial evaluations and follow-up visits are scheduled with real margin. Dr. Safani’s calendar is built so that a visit ends when the work is finished, not when the clock says it must.

Continuity you can rely on.  Because the panel is small, Dr. Safani considers your history, your medications, and your treatment plan, even between visits. When he travels, he remains reachable.

Coordinated care.  Dr. Safani works directly with your therapist, primary care physician, and any other treating clinicians, so your care is integrated rather than scattered across systems that do not speak to one another.

Out-of-network by design.  Practicing outside of insurance is what makes the rest of this possible: no prior authorizations, no utilization review, no third party shaping your treatment plan. A superbill is available through the patient portal for any out-of-network benefits you carry.

What We Offer

  • We provide comprehensive evaluation and management of a wide range of mental health disorders, using evidence-based medicine and a caring approach. Through therapy, medication, and holistic interventions, we aim to alleviate symptoms, enhance coping mechanisms, and guide you toward a balanced and fulfilling life. No matter what you are facing, we offer a compassionate and scientific framework to support you on you journey to improved mental health.

    Initial evaluations include a comprehensive history taking, a review of provided records and/or contact with a current or previous clinician, and, when appropriate, collateral information from a loved one. Given the comprehensive nature of these evaluations, they can take upwards of 90 minutes in addition to time spent after the initial meeting.

  • At Green Meadows Mind Health, we believe that psychotherapy is an integral part to improving one’s mental health. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Based on your individualized needs, we choose specific therapeutic modalities that have the greatest change of success. We know that humans change over time and with their changing environments, and we adjust our approach with you. We help you achieve your goals, whatever they may be.

    While we use psychotherapy principles in all of our services, our 50-minute sessions are recommended for the most effective approach towards mental wellbeing.

    Cost: $600 (including medication management, if needed)

  • Medications may be an important part of one’s treatment plan. Medications must be unique to your biology, condition, and goals. A thorough assessment of your medication history is vital to the evaluation including a thorough review of past trials. By tailoring medications and dosing regimens to your specific biology, we help alleviate distressing symptoms while avoiding side effects.

    We work closely with you, monitoring your progress, and making sure we are available to answer your questions when needed. This collaborative approach ensures that your treatment aligns with your evolving needs.

    Evidence has shown that the combination of psychotherapy and medication management are often the most effective and rapid treatment. While we generally recommend combination treatment, we also recognize that shorter medication management visits may be appropriate from time to time. Medication management only visits are 25 minutes in duration.

  • Personalize treatment is more than a catch phrase, it is our philosophy. We are data driven and believe that treatment decisions should be based on having as much applicable information as possible. Using the latest in pharmacogenomic (genetic) testing, we uncover a slew of factors that can affect how medications interact with your body and with other medications. When appropriate, pharmacogenomic testing can help get you to the right medicine at the right dose faster.

    We offer testing through several pharmacogenomic companies such as Geomind, Genesight, and Tempus. Already tested in the past? Please make sure to provide the information at or before your first visit.
